Description
Long ago abandoned as a tourist attraction, the hot spring still exists. The Rio Grand River in the background is very low due to lack of rain, but the spring remains active. This scene is alive and well within the boundaries of Big Bend National Park in the state of Texas in the United States. In the early 20th century, there was a flurry of activity here. Today, the buildings are abandoned and the hot spring is not maintained. You will still find the adventurer soaking in the soothing hot water of the spring in this very arid part of the United States.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh! Hot springs!!! :) The adventurer you talk about in your description Judy could easily be me. If I had the chance I could soak in those springs for a morning or afternoon or day or maybe two (even longer if I could get away with it). f/v

Thanks, Brian....my husband was in it...there was so much algae built up on the sides and bottom, it was like ice skating!
