Feeling that Florida Fall Weather

October 22nd, 2011

The last two mornings have been crispy chilly (cold in the world as Florida sees it)! This may bring some photo opps by bringing out new plants and animals. Windows are wide open and we are enjoying the crisp, dry air!

As I live and travel...

October 3rd, 2011

Just starting out in this great, big, wonderful world of art and photography. I dabbled a little in oils and loved it, but having husband, children, working full time and going to school didn't leave me much time (or space) to paint. Then, I found myself with an empty nest and still revolved my entire being around my husband and my work. Whatever made them happy and content was the direction I followed. A few years ago I realized that if I did not complete school, I would never realize my own personal dream of teaching and doing other things that fulfill me...like writing and art. I made a bold move...I spent what I thought was lots of money on a camera and began takingpur photographs. I also started to write. I write for the children I love to teach...the little ones! I also left my job, completed school and am now a teacher (and loving it)! Life is full of possibilities!
My first book has just been published: My Alphabet Garden Tour (ISBN: 9781462645268) and now I have found Fine Art America to showcase my photography! How blessed am I?
I purchased 2 of my photos on stretched canvas through WalMart (prior to finding this website) and am excited for delivery. Once I receive them, I will put photographs of the results on my ETSY page: http://www.etsy.com/people/DesignsbyJudyFolde?ref=si_pr
My hope is that someone will love what my eyes see and my camera captures...please leave me comments on my work!
