Description
Walking through a vintage "sod house" on the prairie of South Dakota, this sewing machine sat idle in the main room of the home. Today very few people make clothes for their family. In the years prior to the 20th century, most families had to create their own wardrobes. The house that this was found in was actively lived in until the 1940's in South Dakota.
